Greetings from the HCMC airport. We had our final, lovely breakfast at Ma Maison and bid them adieu and hope to stay there again soon!!
Our 10a flight to Hue is now delayed until at least 1115a, but likely until 1155a...although we are not sure why the delay is occurring. Amy went to the gate counter to inquire and the gentleman sitting at the desk said, "I am sorry for the delay, but don't worry, there will be lunch provided!" Then, we heard an announcement saying that lunch for our flight # is being served in the airport restaurant. Wow...that happens in the US when a flight is delayed, right??? Amy and I are going to pass on lunch, as we are not hungry, but it's nice to have it offered!
Here's our closing photo of the staff at the Pediatric Hospital #1...they are all holding a item that was donated.

So...given that we have hooked into the VIP Lounge wi-fi network (despite not being in the VIP Lounge), I thought I would post some more market and street photos from yesterday that Amy had taken. Enjoy...but the same disclaimer exists as yesterday to the content of the photos. :)

Amy and I love the changes to the wordings on clothing here in Vietnam. This one says, "It Looks Like It's Going to be a Woredful (or wonderful) Weekend." |

Well...need to shut down now...my battery is running low. Still waiting for our flight to leave.
More later...
